Hello everybody and welcome back to the YouTuber news podcast. My name is Benedict Townsend. It's wonderful to have you here on the show. And up top, I want to address one thing. Some of you may have heard about this on Twitter. It's made it into some of the tabloids and the newspapers. You know, it's a bit of a... There's a lot of buzz about this online. And so I thought I just sort of address it. I didn't want to speak about it, but I'll just quickly say a few words up top. As many of you have probably heard, Jesse has left Little Mix. And good for her. You know, I think she should do what is best for her, for her own

mental health, for her own life. And, you know, if that's what she feels is the best move good for her

and obviously with little mix being such a sort of machine a hit machine and being so popular you know

they're not looking to to end the group just yet so naturally you know when jesse revealed to the rest

of the group you know a little a little while back that she was leaving you know they they got together

with management and they said okay who's going to be the new member of little mix you know not a little while back that she was leaving, you know, they got together with management and

they said, okay, who's going to be the new member of Little Mix, you know, not a replacement for Jesse

because you can't replace Jesse, but just a new member. And, you know, and they said, well,

you know, the obvious person to add to Little Mix would be, you know, Benedict Townsend from

YouTube News the podcast. And so, yeah, I've already kind of announced

it on social media. You may have seen, but yes, I will be joining Little Mix, starting Friday. We've got

a vocal warm-up on Friday. That's sort of my first little foray into the group. I'm really

excited, you know, singing, as you know, has always been a real passion of mine.

It's part of the reason why I love podcasting because it's sort of...

Podcasting is a bit like singing.

It's a way to perform with your voice and to sort of touch hearts and minds.

And yeah, I'm just, I'm really pumped about this.

But I also want to emphasize to you, you know, the loyal listeners of this show that this new job really shouldn't affect the podcast or YouTube news the main show.

You know, I really want to do both.

I want to do the international tours with Little Mix.

And I want to get this little podcast out every week, you know, and they're both top priority to me because anyone who follows me, whether it

be because they enjoy my YouTuber news or because they want to hear me do an amazing solo on
