Here's another habit that was requested in the Facebook group for the show - not wearing makeup for a fortnight. I have to be honest, this feels weird, not just because I wear makeup every day, but because makeup and beauty are what I do for a living in my role as a beauty journalist. My instagram feed is full of the makeup I'm using, the products I think are worth spending your hard-earned money on and all the lovely new products that are about to launch. To take a step back feels like missing out a crucial part of my day and also like bypassing a vital part of my daily self-care. How will I get on..?
