Summary

If God is all powerful, all knowing, and all good why is there suffering and evil? This is one of the most practical, painful, and problematic questions that every generation asks about God. And, this is the same question that Habakkuk brought to God for an answer. If this were a multiple choice test, here are the possible answers: There is no God – Atheism God is not all powerful – Finite Godism God is not all knowing – Evolutionary Godism, Open Theism God is not all good – Pantheism, Panentheism There is no suffering and evil – subjectivism, pluralism God is not done yet so live by faith, not sight – Christianity Which does Habakkuk choose? 0:57.6	engaged this question and will open God's word to see what He has to say today. And that being the
1:03.1	case, some of you are here and you are not yet Christians. Maybe you're a non-Christian or maybe
1:07.9	you're not even sure. Maybe you believe in God, but you're not sure about Jesus or you don't have
1:12.7	full confidence in God's word. And we welcome you and we want to dive deep into these questions
1:18.4	with you. Let me just say that that's where I started and that's where many of us started
1:23.6	questions about God in the Bible, perhaps even objections about God and the Bible. And I remember
1:30.6	some years ago, I had a lot of questions and objections and problems with Christianity and then
1:36.0	a philosophical professor who did love the Lord and taught at a state university, walked with me
1:41.0	over the course of a few years through a lot of my questions, taking me through all the options.
1:45.8	And I hope to serve you, I hope to serve you to some measure of goodness as He served me.
