Welcome to another episode of Hacks and Jax, the 150th episode of Hacks and Jack.

Scott, you've been here since episode one.

It's a pretty awesome milestone to reach 150 episodes i've been here for the past two years and and happy to jump aboard but

you know jever think we'd make it this far so we got nom the the podcast was nominated for

best fancy baseball podcasts in its first year, and I've steadily

dragged it downhill since then. So I'm happy I haven't hit bottom yet. Like, they're still

lower to go. Shout out to former host Joe Galena, who carried it for what was that? Three

years, Scott, that he, that he was aboard. And then I guess, I guess it was 22, 23 and 24. And then I jumped on 25 and 26. Yeah. So he's he spent three years making fantasies become realities, uh, with his sign off every single episode. So we still love you, Joe. I believe he's still writing. I would pitch us. He's had to take a step back from this kind of stuff so uh you know love love the guy miss him dearly hope i'm hoping next time i'm in new york or something i can run into him he's like the most new york dude ever i remember the first time uh i saw it like we would be on camera and i he would like always have a hat and a headphone on I had no idea. And then one day he just kind of like turns around a little bit. And I was like, you have a ponytail?

Like that's one of those things in like this virtual world. Like that's one of the things you just might not notice about a guy. I thought he just pushed his hair back. That's awesome. That's awesome. One of those hidden gems you just don't catch on a webcam. Well, no ponytail's here, Scott, I promise, at least not for the foreseeable future.

A lot of guys moving and grooving here as rosters are shuffling around Memorial Day.

Cubs third basement Matt Shaw goes to the IL.

Chicago calls up Pedro Ramirez to replace him.

Ramirez has gotten a few at bats here and there.

One guy that the Cubs also called up, Kevin Alcantara, has barely seen the field.

And frankly, I think he's the more interesting prospect.

He's just not getting at bat.

Scott, what do you think about Ramirez and Alcantara? Well, I mean, for fantasy purpose, this year, there's, there's nothing, right? Like, you can't really be excited because they're not going to play. Alcantara is one of their top five prospects. He's this big, long, Lanky's the wrong word because he's much stronger than me.

But yeah, he's much stronger than me.

But yeah, he's like 6-6, and he's got, you know, at least in the minor leagues,
