Welcome to a sleep-deprived episode of the first pitch podcast here on the Pitchless Podcast Network. My name is Carson-Poucard. I'll be your host for this week in addition to the pod. Let's get into everything baseball related from Friday, May 29th. We will start with the news and notes. A couple of injury and procedural updates to give to you. Graham Ashcraft has been moved to the 60-day IL with the UCL sprain.

The Reds bullpen has been more or less in shambles this year. Ascraft has been a bright

spot. That is coming to an end. No word if he's going to need Tommy John, but the hard throwing

righty is out for an extended period of time. Speaking of hard throwers, Yuri Perez, placed on the 15-day IL, reportedly will take eight

weeks to recover.

So expect him back just around the All-Star break.

Mutateka Murakami came up lame running out of ground ball in the game yesterday.

He is expected to go to the 10-day IL, no further word,

exactly what that injury entails.

Casey Mize and Teoscar Hernandez replaced on the 15 and 10-day IELs,

respectively for their injuries the previous couple days.

Moving on, some rehab starts.

Roman Anthony shut down again.

Anthony has been playing, catch, hitting grounders, doing just every little thing.

He was expected to do some swings, hasn't discovered.

He is shut down again.

No real timetable, frankly for roman anthony managers

i would probably expect maybe another week or so if not more uh it seems like this is a

situation that is just developing and he's not going to recover at a optimal pace a couple

transactions to talk about jacob gonz Gonzalez is going to be called up to replace.
