Summary

Episode 74: This week we had the opportunity to sit back down with Tina Anderson, the founder of Just Thrive. In this episode, she helps us answer and debunk all of the misconceptions about gut health and prebiotics/probiotics. Tina previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, until she realized that she wanted to make a positive change in the world. Tina and her husband, Billy, left the world of pharmaceuticals and went on to create one of the best probiotics and digestive bitters in the market. In the episode we learn all things about your gut microbiome, how to have a diverse gut, what to look for when selecting a probiotic and digestive bitters, and most importantly how to heal your gut microbiome. If you are struggling with your gut health, are unsure if your probiotic is working, or just want to optimize your gut health, this episode is for you!! I learned so much in this episode and am so excited for you to tune in!

1:03.3

Oh, thank you. We're going to give you a quick little refresh. One of the things that I love

1:08.3

about your mission and one of the things I love about, like, like your history is that after you were working as an attorney, you worked in the pharmaceutical industry.

1:16.5

And then you saw that there was kind of a lot of abuse taking place and you wanted to do something about it.

1:21.7

I was in the pharmaceutical industry as an attorney and just see, I saw a lot of the abuses.

1:27.4

You know, I saw a lot of the overprescribing of medications and I saw just the abuses. I saw it with our own family members and I just decided my husband and I were like, we're really into mindset. We do a lot of mindset work and we read a lot of books that help us live our best lives and we were like, you know, we're not doing our life's work. And Dr. Wayne Dyer is one of my, you know, heroes in life. And I used to listen, read a lot of his books. And a lot of the messages he would tell us is to like, do your life's work. And you could relate to that, I'm sure. And I just said, you know what, we just, we can't do this anymore. This is not that we left our roles in the big pharma and wanted to get into something that

was more in line with how we lived our lives with our own three children.

And through, you could go into like more of the details, like you said in my prior episode,
