Today on the show we're looking at why one person does and why another doesn't endorse intelligent

design. That's our subject today. Returning to this topic of intelligent design with Dr. Joshua

Swamidha, he's a computational biologist author of the genealogical Adam and Eve.

And that aims to reconcile a standard evolutionary view of human origins with the genesis accounts.

Now last time he came on the show it was opposite a well-known ID advocate Mike Beehe to debate whether

the microscopic machinery of ourselves are better explained by intelligent design or evolution.

But today he's back to engage with Dr. Gunter Beckley, a paleoentomologist who specializes in

fossil history. Gunter is a senior fellow with Discovery Institute Center for Science and Culture.

And he believes the fossil record is better explained by intelligent design than Darwinian evolution.

Gunter's explicit that he takes that stance not for any religious reasons but on the basis of the

best science. So today we'll be finding out why Gunter sides with intelligent design and Joshua
