when it comes to why I wear a

concealed handgun. I gave up on forums after being called a coward and every other ugly name in the

book because I don't adhere to the hero mentality. They just don't get it. My job as a person who carries

concealed is to protect my wife and myself.

Then, after those two criteria have been met, I will try to do something, but I won't be putting my life on the line,

because putting my life on the line puts my wife's life on the line.

In other words, I can't protect her if I'm dead.

It says, oddly enough, I have explained this non-hero concept to several women,

including my wife, and they all get it.

Also, my wife didn't have a problem understanding the reasons she needs to carry all the time,

is to protect her and my armory rear end in case I become unable to protect her. Great point, Michael. A lot of people don't get it. I actually was talking to a woman on the show a few weeks ago and she was saying she carries but when her husband's carrying, then she doesn't carry I said, why is that? I said, well he's carried. He's got it. I said, well, what if he gets hurt?

It's kind of those long pause. What if something happens to him? What if somebody walks up and smacks him in the back of the head? Now, he can't protect you. You can't protect him. You both need to be carrying. That way you can protect each other. And look, two people who know what they're doing with guns is not twice as good as one person.
