It's our three of Gun Talk.

I'm Tom Gresham. We're having some fun talking about guns,

trying to do you some good, as we say, to help you out,

help you find the gun or guns that you're looking for.

Maybe not the ones you're looking for, maybe more of the ones you need.

I was in a gun store, actually, wasn't too bad.

I was actually at Academy Sports yesterday over by the gun counter,

and I heard a guy behind the counter saying,

no, you don't need those sites.

Just use the front site.

My ears perk up and go, what?

You know, because as you know,

I kind of got a thing about gun store clerks and all, And so I didn't say anything. Just kind of started listening. And it turned out it was okay. I mean, this guy said, he said, well, the clerk says, well, I am a police officer. It says, I am actually the trainer of our SWAT team. And then he said, and up close, really all you need to see is the front sight. I'm going,

okay, I'm not going to argue with that. I will go with that. And depending on who you're talking to and, you know, the level of experience and et cetera, et cetera, and what you're doing. But for the most part, I probably don't have a problem with that. As we know, you can get all sorts of interesting advice and information from gun store clerks.

In this case, I think the lady who was buying a gun probably lucked out and got somebody who actually knew what he was talking about, had some practical experience.

Nothing in the world wrong with that.
