podcast here. Just you can't fit it all into even three hours on Gun Talk Radio. This is interesting. Just got the report. It's an

FBI report. It's a CNN story. Starts off violent crime in the United States dropped markedly in the first half of 2010

according to FBI statistics released Monday.

Overall violent crime fell 6.2% from the same period last year.

And let's see, it's showing a 7.1% decrease in homicide.

Now, let's think about that. We have a 6.2% reduction in violent crime, a 7% reduction in homicide over the same period last year.

Was it it in 2004 when the Clinton gun band, the so-called bogus assault weapons

band expired, that they told us that blood would be

be used to murder each other and certainly

that these assault weapons would be used to murder each other and

murder police officers

and now six years later, we're seeing a six to seven percent decrease in violent crime and homicide.

Hmm. Of course, we said at the time, and those of you

new to this may not have heard this, but more people are killed with fists and feet

than are killed with the

so-called assault weapons according to the FBI.

So we knew that that was bogus, but the media kept parroting this.

Now what's happened is it's the old bait and switch. This hasn't

happened. This isn't working. You know, of course at the same time we also have more and more states having concealed carry. More and more people,

millions of people now have permits to carry guns concealed. And every time that happens, and every time we get more people carrying

concealed or getting permits. We have now Arizona, Alaska, and of course Vermont
