We continue with having women on the show today as our guests. Lots of fun today. We've been talking about self-defense for women. Now we're going to talk about some new guns from a major manufacturer. Lots of things going on.

Well, hello again. Welcome to Gun Talk. Glad that you could be here because we're having fun today. I guarantee you. I'm Tom Gresham and Gun Talk of course is just us getting together and really shooting the breeze. Finding out what's new, what's good, what's fun, what have you been doing?

Been shooting some guns? What have you been shooting? Been doing a little hunting? Tell us about that.

We basically get together to talk about, well, sometimes interesting guns that we're shooting,

optics, topics of interest, safety of course is a big one and I'm going to be beating on that throughout the show today because

unfortunately the rules for gun safety seem to keep eluding some people basic rules.

You know, there are, Jeff Cooper came up with the four rules of gun safety and if you would obey those,

if you would be mindful of the four rules of gun safety.

You're not going to have a tragic accident.

You know, rule number one, all guns are always loaded.

Basically all that means is treat every gun as though it's loaded even when you know it's not.

Never put your finger on the trigger until your sights are on the target and you are ready to shoot.

Don't point the muzzle on anything you're not willing to put a bullet into.

That would include a wall of your home, okay, when you don't know what's on the other side and you don't,

unless you're a Superman with X-ray vision.

You know, it's really pretty darn simple.
