We've been talking about gun safety a good bit.

A lot of things going on, of course, that story that ran on the CNBC, about the Ro the roomton 700 a lot of buzz going on about that

uh... but more than that

uh... i go back to this all the time and probably you're tired of hearing it. That's okay. You can just stay tired of hearing it because

you're going to keep hearing it. It is all about the four rules of gun safety, about treating

every gun as though it's loaded all the time, never pointing a gun, or anything or any

biting you don't want to shoot.

The whole idea here is that you're not making the whole connection is if you do these simple things of controlling your muzzle

watching where the gun is pointed and never letting it point at anybody or

anything you don't want to shoot even for a second, then if by chance a gun does

go off while it will startle you and it will scare you and it will embarrass you.

It's not going to be catastrophic and that's essentially what we're going for here.

And I was just reading, you know, somebody doing a press check on a 1911, got his little finger

in front of the muzzle. Guess what happened? Lost his little finger. Yeah, when you put your finger

in front of the gun, bad things can happen. So I would just ask each of you to make

a personal commitment to firearm safety. And if it feels as though you're being fanatical about it

you're just starting to get where you need to be. I'll just tell you I mean and I

shoot with some of the best shooters in the world and I shoot with some of the finest trainers in the world and they are all to the last person absolutely fanatical about this.
