I'm so glad you could join us. I'm Tom Gresham, your host. We're going to be talking about guns and fun stuff, accessories and also some issues this hour of gun talk. A lot of stuff going on. The National Park Service ban on carrying

guns into the parks goes away this week on the 22nd of February. If it's legal for you to carry your gun outside the park in that

state it'll be legal for you to carry your gun inside the park as of the

22nd. But beware there are some tricks afoot. of the Arkansas

Arkansas Fish and Game folks the Arkansas Fish and Game folks the Conservation Department

has entered into and this is not a new thing, they had entered

into an arrangement with the National Park Service that some of the National Parks, some of the

federal areas where you would normally be able to carry your gun on the 22nd,

they've been designated as wildlife management areas.

And under state law, you can't carry your gun into a WMA. So Arkansas

is going to need some work to get that cleared up. Watch that one and of course we have this group of retired

park service workers who is they put out releases that are so over the top that people

really are not paying a lot of attention to them but they're saying

you may be standing next to someone who is carrying an assault rifle.

Well I guess it's possible pretty unlikely. Of course the point they're trying to

make is you could be standing next

to someone who's wearing a gun and I say that's right and that's also true at McDonald's.
