I'm glad you could be with us. Yep, if it sounds a little weird, ah, yeah, I've got the post-holiday cold, sniffles, blues, and all of that stuff. But that's only because I got my flu shot this year, so that's really helping. Right. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, it's called Gun Talk. We're talking about guns. We're talking about what happened last year, what's going to happen this year, the guns you bought, the guns you're thinking about buying. Maybe this is the year when you say, okay, I have heard them, as someone said to me, says, you've been nagging about this forever. Yes, I have, as a matter of fact. Two things. One is, if you own a gun,

you ought to be an NRA member. Two is you need, and I don't care who you are, you need to

take charge of your own safety and security. Simple as that. Now, as we go further, we will talk

about, you know, if you're looking for a lifetime

sport, a fun thing you can do as a family, certainly shooting is right in there. I mean,

I don't know of anything else you guys can do from age of eight on until you're 88 or beyond,

and shooting is certainly one of those things you can all do together. But also, frankly, the reason a lot of people are buying guns is because they've, well,

they've woken up, they've awakened, if you will, watching the video of 9-11 attacks,

watching the video of Hurricane Katrina, those two things, I think, did more

for waking people up to the reality.

They were living in a bubble.

They were fooling themselves, thinking they were safe.

Oh, yeah, I'm safe.

Everything's good.

Basically what they're doing is they were telling themselves, I don't want to think about this.
