John's visiting senior research scientist at the University of Maryland.

He's held many research positions at numerous institutions,

including the University of Chicago, Yale University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the American Enterprise Institute.

He's got a PhD in economics from UCLA, and his research includes many areas including the gun rights gun control

controversies he's been a well-known author in both academia and popular

culture he's been published over 90 articles in peer-reviewed academic journals which
