When the United States Supreme Court delivered its decision in the Heller case, the D.C. gun ban case.

The United States Supreme Court came in and said, well, a lot of us knew to be true all along.

But some folks have gotten confused about that for a while,

like for the last 70 years or so.

A lot of state and federal courts have gotten confused about what the Second Amendment was.

The Supreme Court came in and said, you know what?

The Second Amendment to the United States is, in fact, an individual right.

This silly, silly notion that somehow it's a collective right.

It's a right reserve for militias.

It's a right reserve for the National Guard.

The very idea defies understanding of history.

But the Supreme Court said, no, no, no, no.
