The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the Second Amendment is an individual right.

1:07.7

That's got them all shaken up, shaking up, whatever, in D.C. It's been fun to watch the media losing their minds over this. I've been out doing some shooting the last couple of days, taking a couple of women out, getting them going into shooting, introducing them, and we're doing self-defense stuff. So we're shooting up real close, making sure that it's simple. We're shooting 9mm, started them off with the Smith & Weston M&P and the 9mm. It's a Glock-type gun. And then yesterday we tried the Glock, and it's like I always say. I said, look, you've got to put your hands on the gun because the gun that I like, it may not be the gun that you like. It may not fit your hands right. I find the Glock to be kind of slab-sided and not as comfortable as like the M&P. I think it's a, I like that grip design. I'm not going to say it's better. I like that grip design better. It fits my hand. These ladies both like the Glock better. Okay, fine. Whatever works for you.

2:01.7

But we were shooting up pretty close, and we were working on, you know, the simple stuff, of side alignment, and working on, and it was interesting. We were getting these jerks, and the groups were kind of all over the target, and then I said, all right, let's, and of course you did the deal where you're giving the gun, and it's not loaded, and you can see how much you jerked the trigger.

2:18.7

But I said, all right, I want you to only think of two things, two things only. Front sight, let the target fuzz, let the rear sights fuzz. The only thing is sharp is the front site. And then we're going to work on trigger press. It's not a trigger squeeze. It's not a trigger pull. It certainly is not a trigger jerk. It's a press. And it's front sight, press. And you say it just that way as the instructor. And you say, just pull that triggers, press it back, straight back. And it was amazing. All of a sudden, these groups that were like 8, 10 inches at 7 yards became 3 inches at 7 yards. It was really impressive. So they started really having a good time. Let's do this. We got people calling in and bit on hold for a little while. Charles out of Temple, Texas line 2. Hey, Charles, you're on Gun Talk. Thanks for your patience. Hello, Tom. Good talk to you again.

Like I told your screener, when I was in law enforcement, I used to teach rape prevention and self-defense to the women's groups.
