Every once a while we get

the subject that is just, yeah, a lot times it's fun, it's shallow. It's, you know, we're shooting guns and having fun.

Every once when we get a subject that goes a good bit deeper than that.

I'm reminded, I put this out on Twitter last week, I'm reminded 20 years ago when we started

Gun Talk Radio, I wrote a mission statement for Gun Talk Radio and

it's become the mission statement for all the things we do. It's pretty simple really.

It's basically the thing that drives whatever we do. And the mission statement was this.

Our goal is to permanently change the way guns and gun owners are viewed in America.

Along those lines I received an email from a Truth Squad member,

somebody who has basically made the pledge, said how I'm going to stand up, I'm not going to put up with this.

And it was interesting and I'm going to connect that to a story that broke this week in Nevada, so people who are foster parents ended up having

to use a firearm and self-defense protecting themselves and their children and the state now wants to maybe

already has taken away the foster children.
