Julie Hartley Brewer had taken over at 10 o'clock. Breaking news this morning, Thameswater, said it slumped to a 1.65 billion annual pre-tax loss from profits of 157 million last year.

They saw its debt mounting increase as well to 16.8 billion. Meanwhile,

South East London appears to be out of water because there's been some kind of water, not,

not I wouldn't say a leak exactly, but some kind of burst pipe situation going on, not far from where I lived.

I woke up this morning to the rather unfortunate situation

of no water whatsoever. Not a mention of it on any website, not a mention of it on any alert,

nothing at all. So I had no idea whether it was because somebody, like Ed Miliband, decided to just

ban me from having water on the grounds of my views, or whether it was in fact a sort of wide problem

that was affecting the area. They've started putting out warnings now and saying if you see

a big lorry somewhere nearby, that will be a tanker with water in it. I don't know why

they put these warnings out. What does it mean? We'll be talking to Isabel Oakshot coming up

in a moment. We'll find out what she makes of Rachel Reeves' latest plan tonight when she makes her mansion house speech to tell us that she's going to cut loads of red tape in the city.

She's going to start lending money to people that can't afford to pay it back.

And indeed, she is certainly not under any circumstances going to raise taxes for ordinary working people. We now

seem to have a slightly different definition of working people. Now it's ordinary workers,

presumably those who make less money than those she's about to tax. She's not very clear,
