Good morning and welcome to Morning Glory. It's three minutes past six.

0:03.0

Excuse me and very good morning. Welcome to Wednesday. It is of course the new day.

0:09.0

It's Wednesday, 16th of July and quite frankly this morning.

0:12.0

I'm almost speechless about how we're going to start this show because the story that we're about to unravel for you

0:17.0

is so ridiculous, so heinous, so incredible and so utterly damning of the governments of this

0:24.1

country, though I scarcely know where to begin. Theo, I should see it with me. We're going to be

0:28.2

talking through for the best part of this morning. There's lots of other stories, of course, as

0:32.1

there always are. But this Afghan scandal, which you may have heard about if you've been in any way awake or alive over the course of the last 24 hours.

with their children, putting them into private accommodation,

1:28.5

putting them into hotels, pulling them into, in some cases, military bases, and deciding,

1:34.7

absolutely and utterly, without any second thought, to hide it from the British public,

1:40.0

so that we were never supposed to know. They took out what's called a super injunction,

1:43.8

which we'll explain over the course of the next four hours, in order to make sure that the intimate details of this story never saw the light of day. They now have come out, and quite frankly, it is a damning indictment of the way that our government, whichever colour it is, has been working for the past several years. We're going

2:01.3

to be exploring all sorts of legal ramifications. We're going to be asking you whether,

2:05.8

you know, you kind of realise, we all did. We all walks around going, there seems to be a lot

2:10.1

of Afghanistan people around. There seems to be an awful lot of migrants around. Turns out that
