0:34.4 | Hmm. Hello everyone and welcome to this morning meditation and And one of the possibilities that can come from meditation is being refreshed. |
0:48.3 | And one of the great refreshments is becoming simple, the simplicity of being. |
0:55.9 | And one of the values of developing samadhi with the in constant changing nature of experience |
1:08.9 | is how it's endlessly refreshing. |
1:12.6 | It simplifies so much in the mind to just be. |
1:18.6 | And as we stay with a changing nature of the present moment experience, |
1:24.6 | resting in it, trusting it, relaxing with it. |
1:30.3 | We start seeing how it's the thinking mind that more often than not keeps us in the old groove, |
1:47.7 | keeps us in the old familiar thought patterns |
1:51.0 | that sometimes can be debilitating, undermining us. |
1:57.0 | And to step out of the normal stream of thoughts and thinking |
2:04.9 | into this different stream of direct experience, |
2:11.1 | direct sensations, and develop the samadhi of change, |
2:16.2 | samadhi of inconstancy, samadhi of the changing nature of the present moment, |
2:25.7 | is one way to be refreshed, one way to appreciate a simplicity of being, simplicity of mind, simplicity of thinking, |
2:40.1 | no longer needing to interpret, no longer needing to judge and evaluate, |
2:46.0 | no longer need to remember or plan or fantasize, |
2:51.6 | that for the duration of the meditation, |
2:57.6 | allowing oneself a simplicity of being with direct experience, |
3:03.6 | and that samadhi of change is one of the places to experience that is with the changing sensations of breathing. |
