Welcome.

And one of the amazing capacities we have as human beings is attention.

And using the word attention to highlight this is to point out that attention is a very

broad term that encompasses all the different attentional faculties that we have.

So to pay attention, to offer attention, to be attentive,

is different ways that we attend to something, attending with attention.

And sometimes we attend,

sometimes we are aware,

sometimes through our eyes.

Sometimes we might be aware mostly through our ears.

Some people who can see

will close their eyes

in order to hear better we might attend

through our nostrils or through a taste when we're eating food and

I remember when I was a kid I haven't done this for a long time,

we wanted to know whether a small battery was, especially, was, still had a charge in it,

and we would put, use our tongue to taste, to feel feel, to feel the little charge that was left.

And there was, we attend through something that is not exactly connected to any of the sense stores. We might attend or by knowing something carefully.

It's cognitive.
