Man, it is so stinking fun to be back.

I am a member of the class of 2009, a whoop, and I am just pumped to be back here with you.

Hey, if you have a Bible, we flip them to Matthew chapter 6.

Matthew chapter 6, I'm going to start in verse 24. Hopefully it'll be up on the

screens. And I'm going to read through this passage and then we'll just spend the next 30-so minutes

talking about it. Jesus in the sermon of the mount says this, no one can serve two masters. Either

you will hate one and love the other or you you will be devoted one and despise the other.

You cannot serve both God and money.

Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear.

It's not life more than food and the body more than clothes.

Look at the birds of the air.

They do not sow or reap or store away in barns,

and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable to God than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow? They do not labor or spin, yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was dressed like one of these. If this is how God closed the grass of the field which is here today tomorrow is thrown into the fire

will he not much more clothe you oh you of little faith so do not worry saying what should we eat
