is an epidemic of unhealthy teaching regarding biblical manhood and womanhood.

At first, we thought maybe it was just a struggle for power within the church,

but we quickly started hearing more and more stories about the ways in which these teachings

were being used to enable abuse on every level from the pulpit to the office to the home.

I found Sheila Gregor on Twitter and

immediately ordered her book. The thing she was saying made sense. The way we teach about men and

women is directly affecting marriages, sex, the health of platonic male-female relationships,

and ultimately causing harm, shame, and brokenness.

We asked Sheila to guest because we have seen the way that Acts 29 leaders have

platformed problematic books like Driscoll's real marriage and devalued women in sermon after sermon.
