Team Holland, a race consultant, all-around good guy, and six-time AMA champion, Jeff Stenton.

He's pretty much a legend in the sport.

Supercross champion, motocross champion, motocross the nation's champion, last guy to wear high point gear competitively.

I could go on and on about the guy, but there's three things that stand out in my mind when talking about six times. One is the time that I worked for Nick Way and we were in Michigan and went out riding at his property and with Jason Thomas.

Now Nick is obviously pretty fast, but he could barely pull away from Jeff at the end of a 30-minute moto. That was pretty impressive to me. After all, Jeff had been retired for seven years.

At the end of the second moto, J.T. started having break problems on his bike and was stressing out.

He had to call his dad to get him the next day, air him a break. He didn't know if he was

going to be able to race on the weekend. He didn't have any parts. Jeff said, no problem, Jason. He took his entire brake system off and insisted that JT take it for the weekend.

JT. tried to tell him no, but six times said that even if JT gets one to keep his as a backup.

How cool is that? He took it off by himself, too. I mean, that's just incredible for a rider and for an AMA champion. He just was really worried about JT. Another one is his incredible trophy collection he has in his

basement. It's all sealed off with glass and pretty much features every little trophy plaque

magazine article that anything that was written about Jeff, he's got it. It even has a replica

...
