Hi, thank you for having me. I know we're a... I'm so pumped to be here. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm just so pumped to be here that I'm like bursting at the series. I know. We're both excited to talk this topic today. One that is touches on some of the stuff we talk about on the podcast more regularly, but also is just a really fun topic on its own right, which is the 1974 musical film of Phantom of the Paradise.

So before we get into the specifics of the movie, what is your relationship to Fantsom of the Paradise?

For those of you who don't know me, my life is basically, if I'm not shit posting about

a song of ice and fire, I'm shit posting about fandom of the opera.

I think that's like my erf fandom.

And like I've been obsessed with it since I was probably like 11 years old, which is really

sad because I'm a turning 34 in a couple weeks.

So more than half my life has been, you know,

deep in this bullshit, so to speak. But I first saw Phantom of the Paradise. It's kind of one of

those movies that I didn't see it at the right time for me. So I first saw it. I think high school,
