I was experiencing this deep loss of heart and the effect was what I kept saying to myself was I just want to be done.

I just want to be done with my community. I just want to be done with my life with God.

But it was something in the heart of I am so discouraged and at a loss of heart for this story, this life that I'm experiencing around me and even my connection to God.

You know, the uncertainty, the fear, the constant changing, this, that and then just all of the acrimony, the tensions around vaccines, masks.

Like this, this has literally divided churches, right, which is so tragic.

So everybody's a little beat up and is Dan and I were talking about last week, we need to take a longer term view of our recovery.

And part of what we've experienced as a team and part of what we're concerned about is a kind of vulnerability to then the enemy just jumping on.

You know, he just always does that, right, dog pile.

You know, you have a fight with your wife, you know, things don't go well with your teenage daughter.

And then the enemy jumps in there and tries to really, you know, blow it all out of proportion.
