It was a 9-10 play-in game.

Not exactly the highest stakes in the world, but Stefan Curry versus Kauai Leonard,

Dray-Mond Green versus Kauai Leonard, it gave us some amazing entertainment.

And it's just a reminder that even if the stakes are not the highest,

two teams playing as hard as they can, really smart coaches, really smart players, even with some new faces.

It was truly incredible theater and the Golden State Warriors, not exactly something that's going to burnish their overall legacy.

But the level that these guys can bring it to in a postseason circumstance, even at the ages that they are, was truly awesome to behold.

I actually think it does burnish Dremont Green's legacy because this was a different kind of assignment.

You and I talked before we previewed the play in game and we talked about this idea of who on the Golden State Warriors

could guard Quay Leonard. And what we came to was, it was really just Dream on Green. And we wondered

if Steve Kerr was going to go to that approach. And they really, really did. And I think for me,

the number one stat from this game, of which there are many, is that Quy Leonard played eight minutes and

16 seconds in the fourth quarter. He attempted two shots from the field and had zero assists.

Here were the two shots he attempted. One was a layup in transition that he actually missed

with a good contest from Anthony Melton. And the other was a cutting layup that he got

because Draymond Green was switched on to Brooke Lopez. And so Lopez made the pass to Quay-Lopez.

And because the game is over and they're just trying to not give up a three. Exactly. So in the

competitive portion of the fourth quarter, Kauai Leonard, the least perturbable player in the NBA,

attempted zero shots

when guarded by Dramon Green.
