Today, I am very pleased to have with me on the podcast, Christa Saint Germain.

She is a life coach and specifically, councils around grief and post-traumatic growth, which

is a phrase we discuss, because I hadn't heard that phrase before.

She is a widow of five years and focuses specifically on helping widows, specifically

widowed moms grow after a traumatic life event, like losing a spouse.

And where we really dive pretty deep is with thoughts.

And of course, I work it around to money and budgeting.

And we talk about this little word called distance, distance between thoughts.

And I tie it back to distance between money and decisions.

And how we really can start to just stick some intention right there in that gap.

But Christa does an excellent job of drawing some metaphors around thoughts and who we are

and what thoughts are and how we can perhaps start to check those stories that we tell

ourselves.

It was a fantastic conversation.

And I really, it was one of those where I walk away and thought, well, maybe Christa specializes

in helping widowed moms like herself work through very, very difficult situations.

But I found a lot of value just personally in having her chat with me for 20 minutes

or so around what, yeah, what our thoughts are and how I could be a little more intentional

with them.
