Today, we are rewinding back to September 13th, 2016.

This is originally episode 1869, growing up in the Florida Swamps, in the Pennsylvania

woods.

I have actually run this one as a rewind before,

but I'm cutting a new intro to it today.

The intro will be short because I've kept all the intro short

for this vacation period.

Had of necessity for my mental health, honestly, I need a break.

But I wanted to put a little bit of extra into this one

and let you know why it's not only a rewind but a rewinded rewind at this point

this was just one of the most popular episodes I ever did and I felt like it was a gamble when I did it because it's my story of my childhood.

And I can understand how that might come off is egotistical.

Let me tell you what it was like when I was a kid and make the whole episode,

not just a reference to that.

But, you know, this is not really about me.

There were a lot of people like me in this time period.

This is something that I did as much for old farts like us, if you're in my age bracket or older, to remember, but also for those of you who missed out on it.

You know, my son got some of this because it was me, right?

But honestly, had our lives not taken certain turns that empowered me to be able to have the freedom to do it, he may not have even growing up with me.
