Welcome, welcome everyone to the Epic Gardening podcast. I hope you are doing awesome out there.

We are joined again by Colette, the plant charmer, and we're talking about charming some

0:22.2

plants in today's episode. If you guys remember, Colette is the founder of Ingenious Farms.

0:26.6

We have talked a lot about both his farm, his business model, as well as how that business

0:31.6

model has been impacted by the pandemic and just sort of the following effects of that.

0:35.7

But Colette, I want to bring us back into the world of cultivation and let's talk about

0:41.5

raspberries. I know you were really well known for your strawberry cultivation and we actually

0:46.4

teased a little bit of your improvements in the second episode we did this week to reduce

1:22.1

have raspberries at home, I strongly recommend you get, actually I think I'm going to make

1:25.7

1:31.5

you want to grow your raspberry plants in a V-shape. So the plants grow canes, right? So if

1:36.7

you build yourself a V-shape trellis out of simple lumber or wood, I'll put it in the

1:42.7

YouTube video I'll make or whatever, but you guys are going to see it super easy stuff.

1:46.0

So the way raspberry grows is the canes grow and then they flower in fruit. So on your

1:51.4

V shape, you put the flowering canes, the fruiting canes. And then in between, what happens is
