I know we talk a lot about growing plants at Epic Gardening obviously, but Jacques specifically

has been delving into the world of fungi actually Chris, our head of customer experience, has

been doing the same.

You and her have both been kind of riffing on mushrooms.

So what are you growing right now?

So in terms of mushrooms, in the outdoor, like in the garden in itself, I have three wine

cap mushroom beds, so you could tell already that that's my favorite.

I had one patch last year, it was like the most incredible thing I've ever ate out of

the garden, maybe period, I was so delicious.

So I have three of them this year because I need to maximize my chances of getting more

of those.

And then I have one oyster bed outside, and that's actually in my currently singular

raised bed, but I'm going to be adding a bunch of birdies beds this spring.

And that oyster bed is built into the middle of my bed, so it's a giant straw patch

and totally inoculated in oyster mushroom spawn.

So I'm trying to do double duty.

And for instance, one of my red wine cap mushrooms is directly mixed into my asparagus bed.

So it's providing the mulch and it's also providing asparagus and mushrooms.

So that's like a nice little synergy that you could do.

And finally, I have three different mushroom blocks, so like indoor growing kits and that

goes two oysters and a lion's main mushroom.
