Hey, what's up everyone? How is it going? And how is it growing?

It's Kevin from Epic Gardening, and today we're going to talk about a plant that's, you know,

it's been in my sphere of consciousness, I guess, for a while while but I haven't thought about growing it

until a friend of mine sent me some seeds. Yes yes the seed swap so my friend Eddie from

Cuban Gardner he's on Instagram at Cuban Gardner.

He hit me up and he said, hey, do you want to grow some meringue?

And I said yes, because I say yes to growing anything that I haven't grown before.

So he sent out some meringue seeds.

They came in the mail.

I started doing my research and what I found was quite incredible.

Maringa is a plant that I really need to focus on now and I'd like to just share on the podcast because

although I've, you know, I'm just starting seeds right now, I still think that we should have

a little discussion about potentially growing moringa next season.

First of all, let's talk about why I'm saying that.

So here are some facts.

Gram for gram, moringa can have up to three times the potassium you'd find in a banana, four times the

vitamin A found in a carrot, and seven times the vitamin C found in an orange.

It also has a ton of minerals, vitamins, essential amino acids, phytochemical agents, and

carbohydrates. So as you can see, if you're talking about growing something for nutrient

density,

you've got a really good winter on your hands with Maringa.

As far as growing concerns, it's a resilient tree.
