0:29.7	front yards and it's something that I've talked about before with the sort of micro farming

0:40.5	Nature's always right it's doing something similar but in backyards, but I figured I would bring Rob on he's got so much to talk about in the
0:47.3	world of food, growing, etc. So Rob, how's it going man?

0:54.0	Yeah, of course. Of course. I feel like it probably is overdue even though I guess we didn't really know about each other when we live in the same city.
1:02.0	I know. Next time I'm out there I'll
1:04.7	have to come check out your garden. Yeah for sure. So growing, speaking of front yards,
1:09.1	that's my soil garden at least is a front yard garden which definitely has some interesting side
1:15.0	effects.
1:17.1	What did you start doing as far as growing in other people's front yards?
1:21.8	So well you know every location has its pros and its cons, and so the big challenge here in Orlando is that
1:29.0	it's basically former ocean, it's sand like if you pick up the there's in soil here you
1:36.4	pick up the I want to say soil but it's really just you pick up some of the
1:41.3	ground and it's just white sand practically.
1:45.0	So the, you know, most challenging thing is you got to bring in nutrients and what I did to convert front yards in the gardens is I just simply laid down cardboard then a thick layer of mulch like 12 inches or so and then and then I made rows using here we have mushroom compost, which is the byproduct of the
2:06.4	mushroom industry. It's what they use to grow mushrooms in and it's what's left over and still
