0:23.5	met on Instagram. I hear and I've noticed that you have quite the wildlife
0:29.0	garden and it's something I've been getting into a little bit more myself and
0:32.0	we had David Misjuski on the podcast recently of National Wildlife
0:35.0	Federation. From what I understand you're in zone eight you have a certified
0:39.2	wildlife habitat. I'd love to hear a little bit more about the background and
0:42.6	welcome to the show. Yes thanks Kevin. So first of all congratulations on your
0:48.7	own certification of your garden as a certified wildlife habitat through
0:54.4	the National Wildlife Federation. So my garden is certified as well. So I am in
1:03.2	Coastal Zone 8B in British Columbia Canada and my garden has been certified
1:12.0	for about the past year though I have been gardening for local wildlife much
1:21.0	earlier than that. So my own garden that I'm currently in I've been here since
1:29.2	about 2017 and did a major garden rehab in 2020 and a lot of what I have done to
1:40.8	design and incorporate elements for wildlife and supporting local wildlife. So I
1:50.0	want to dive deeper on what those elements are and I'm going to be using the
1:55.2	National Wildlife Federation checklist to dive deeper on those different
2:01.2	elements and how you can incorporate them at home. Yeah I think the thing that
2:05.5	was interesting to me is I didn't know about the checklist when I apply and I've
2:10.0	talked to David you know it is what I do for a living so I just so happened to have
2:14.9	satisfied the checklist thankfully but I know we're talking today about food sources right.
