Under Lights Fame, the book that I've been seeing absolutely everywhere and I have a copy of sitting right in front of me right now

So we're talking today about a

Loftier goal I guess you could say indoors, and that would be indoor citrus.

And so this is something that it really hasn't been on my radar because I'm in a climate where

citrus is completely fine to grow outdoors year round and does quite well.

So it's never been something I've considered because I'm going to always prioritize growing outdoors

for things that perform well outdoors rather than

constructing an indoor environment if I don't have to and so that's why it's sort of

flown by my radar or flown under my radar but I think for a lot of other people

certainly in different climates and you listening might be in one of those climates, this could be something that could really be a fun project for you.

Can you kind of explain why this even is a thing?

So I live in Dallas, Texas.

And while we have a 12 month gardening season,

we are in a zone where we get hard freezes.

So citrus is not, there might be a couple of varieties

that are sort of semi-root hardy on a southern exposure but that's really even a roll of the dice from year to year.

So you know while we have super extreme heat in the summer we get hard freezes in the winter.

So everybody pretty much grows their citrus
