Tonight's show is mixed is a mixed bag of synchronicity and I'll tell you why.

My producer Ron and I were in the office two or three

days ago and we were kind of talking amongst ourselves about something that we thought was

odd and it had everything to do with Antarctica. And it's kind of coincidental also that

tonight we're talking about the cold reaches of the South Pole when outside in the Portland area where we're broadcasting, it's cold.

And we've had snow and people are in a panic and roads are backed up.

So I guess it's appropriate.

If you're stuck in the snow in the Portland, Oregon area, you're stuck in the snow in Seattle.

The whole northwest was blanketed in snow. And so this Antarctic discussion will probably make you feel a little bit colder. Maybe not. Yeah, I just think it's fascinating
