Today we're going to talk about what is groaning in the spirit, that phrase

groaning in the spirit. What does that mean? What is the Bible talking about

when it talks about that? And is Romans 8 talking about tongues? That's to me an important question.

I want to know, is this passage about tongues when it talks about this?

And we're finally going to get to Romans 828.

One of the most loved and underrated verses in the entire Bible.

I think as loved as it is, it deserves more love.

Romans 8, verse 26.

This is, I really think Romans 8 is like the gift that keeps on giving.

This is such an incredible passage, so beautiful, so wonderful.

I am taking my time going through it, but not so we can

bluster, but rather so we can actually stop and really appreciate these valuable truths.

So Romans 8, verse 26, it says, likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses.

For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought,

but the spirit himself makes intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now he who searches

the hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is because he makes intercession
