I'll confess, I still found a bunch of really unsettling imagery, even just the early scene

where she goes for the job interview as the housekeeper.

That man is so creepy and insidious. And, you know, when he asks her whether or not her virginity is intact, all I could think of was,

wait, this is a movie for kids. Yeah. That's something. That was the funny thing, too, because

when he was doing the Q&A, he asked all the kids, he was like,

how many of you all have seen It chapter one or chapter two? Literally every single fucking one

of these kids raise their hand. Oh, my goodness. This is where I actively feel like an old

person, because I'm just like, no, protect those children. Don't let them see these scary movies.

It'll warp and pervert their fragile little minds.

I mean, that's how I got.

I would never been allowed to watch it, either one of them as a 10, 11, or 12-year-old at all.

But that's not the way people are.

I mean, also we're in Austin, so it's a little bit more free-spirited here, if you may say.

But still, I was like, okay, so I mean, these kids are used to that.

But again, that's also a movie that's heavy on jump scares and booze.

And this is just not it.

Yeah, but I'm still thinking of like gremlins and poltergeist from the 80s, right?
