Something I've found for myself and I've talked to some people who have found this also has been that they have gone after stuff with the pursuit of happiness in mind and gotten the things that they believed would bring them happiness and then not been happy.

And I've found that over and over again. I lost 300 pounds and I thought that this would solve every problem I had and that I would not experience melancholy anymore and that just wasn't the case.
