Right away, Kevin, I got involved in initiatives to make a difference.

Would you even believe we went and lobbied for a particular compact act in Congress that would focus monies directly in one area to solve the issue and then move to the next area. We didn't know what we were doing, but we just knew we had to jump in and make a difference. And though I know we've made some kind of difference, I have to say, what we've done is nothing compared to what my guests have done for the sake of the voiceless.
