Turn with me, please, to 1 Samuel, the second chapter, and then I think we'll be going to Matthew

Chapter 7, 1 Samuel 2 and Matthew 7.

Let's release our faith.

Let's agree together right now in prayer, Father, in Jesus' name.

We're asking you for utterance.

Asking you, Lord, that we may speak as the oracles of God, that you'd speak through us beyond us.

And that you'd get all of us eyes to see and ears to hear and hearts that can receive and discern.

That you would give us, Lord,

your will and your plan, that we'd come to know your ways, we ask, not just seeing your acts,

but understanding also of your ways and of your character and who you are and how you see things

because your ways are right, your priorities are right.

And we ask to help us to see that to become more like you and closer to you.

And we asked for it.

We believe we receive it. We know it you will. So we know you hear us. And we ask for it. We believe we receive it.

We know it your will, so we know you hear us.

So we know our petitions granted before we finish praying.

And we thank you for that.

And we purpose to not be hearers only, nor forgetful hearers,

but by your grace to be keepers and doers of it.

In Jesus' name, amen.
