Some people. And then who's new? Who's like PGY1? Okay. Nice to meet you all.

I'll give you a little bit of my background before we get started.

So I'm a hemonk doctor. I work at UCSF. I actually practice mostly at the general.

You'll find me there every Monday in the

hematology, hemalignancy clinic. And I attend on service there, maybe about three months a year.

And then my background is I'm from like northwest Indiana, not far from Notre Dame. I did my

medical school at University of Chicago, my residency at Northwestern and internal medicine. Then I went to

D.C. for a few years and I did Hymunk

at the National Institutes of Health.

Then I was on the faculty in Oregon for about five years

at OHSU and then I joined the faculty here in 2020 at UCSF.

So I still do some clinical work.

We do some research and I teach a bunch of classes.

And if anyone's interested in any of that,

you can come talk to me afterwards because we got some good classes in the spring

on like publishing and presenting research. Okay, so last time I talked about

evidence appraisal, how to keep up. That video and the reason this camera is here is

that I put it on YouTube. So anyone who missed it last time wants to check it out,

you can go find it. We talked about int intresto we talked about some other things this time I

thought I would cover different material because I expected a lot of you would be

back again I'm gonna talk about some great and crazy things we do in medicine
