Depending on what a certain Groundhog says tomorrow morning, I'm hoping that this is the midpoint of the winter and the continental United States.

I'm eager to start gardening and getting outside.

As most of you in the community already know, January 31st marked the last day that you could

become a member of the Science Fiction World Con held in San Antonio this year and still nominate.

If you were a member of Chai Con last year, you can still nominate.

Just wanted to make that clarification.

And always, if you aren't a member of either you can still become an attending

member or a supporting member of this year's Worldcon and once the shortlist is announced you will have the ability to vote.

And another reminder, if you are an active, lifetime active, active family member,, or Lifetime Associate Member.

You have until February 31st to nominate your favorite works for the Nebula Awards.

And speaking of surveys and awards and winners around this time each year,
