that Bernie Madoff took a guilty plea in that Ponzi scheme and accepted a 150 year prison sentence because he had been managing money for Russian

mobsters and they had a hit on him and the only way to avoid being murdered by the mobsters

was to go into federal custody. Oh, you're kidding. So that was part of the money that he stole.

He apparently, according to the show, which it's on Netflix right now so you can watch it,

He had been managing.
