Seven days ago, on Grant's Rant i said that there was no way Trey Lance would remain healthy. Unfortunately, that came true yesterday when he broke his ankle against the Seahawks. Lance will have surgery today and be lost for the season. I say unfortunately, because you hate see players getting hurt, but the 49ers are now a better team. Jimmy Garoppolo is better suited for now to lead this team. Period! Lance may be a good NFL QB in the future, but the 49ers just became a super Bowl contender for this season!
