they've got a fix for you well for the Sacramento Kings summer league is in the

books and now they set their attention to their training

camp roster which begins at the end of September. The question is have the Kings

done enough in the off season to further climb up the ladder

in a very balanced Western conference?

Sasha Vizankov comes over from Europe where he was the European League MVP.

They make a deal to guard Chris Duarte from the Indiana Pacers.

What about defense and what about rebounding? That's what I hear from those that think the King should have done more.

Well here's what I do know. I don't know of a team in the MBA that is going to be able to out score Sacramento. I would agree that defensively

they really don't look that much better at least on paper. Rebounding

really doesn't look that much better based on what we saw from last season and

particularly in their loss in the playoffs to the Golden State Warriors.

Now it is only the middle of July and the Kings still have some capital to work with and maybe they will add what they need.

I believe that a veteran backup point guard is crucial and I also think some depth again on the front line particularly in size

toughness and rebounding is also essential if the Kings are going to get to the

next level and by next level I mean a championship

contender clearly a playoff team clearly good but I don't know if their roster right

now has championship written next to it.

Again, they're going to be able to score with anybody.
