these are the dog days in sports broadcasting.

I've always thought once you get to the middle of July

until you get the ball rolling with football season.

And I always thought this when I was doing my radio show in Sacramento.

These six weeks

doing radio content were the worst.

They're just what there's really not a lot going on.

Obviously if you're in the tennis you got wibbled in, you know, if you're into golf,

you got the open championship coming up, but that's about it, right?

NBA free agency for all intents and purposes is done.

There are a couple of free agents still available. You know, baseball, I mean, the all-star

games just showed again that the country is so down on baseball. Yeah, if you're a Giants fan, it's going to be fun, but for the most part, most of us are

waiting for football season. That's just the reality once you hit the middle of July.

But we're good. We can talk about anything you want. You hit your hand at the icon and we will do it. I did my

podcast today on the disgraceful entity that is E-S-P-N. What they did to Will

Kane now at Fox News at the SP's is hard to believe and it's also hard to believe that there hasn't been

amazing backlash at a company that did what they did to ESPN. It's beyond ridiculous. It really is. And, you know, I talked about

Doug Adler, who was fired by E-S-P-N. Phil Mosnick wrote another tremendous column in the New York Post and it's just

you know I don't know what else to say.
