The Wall Street Journal comes out with a big article on Friday revealing an email that John Gruden wrote 10 years ago

in which he referenced DeMore Smith, the head of the NFL players union with rubber lips.

Over the weekend, Hall of Fame wide receiver, Tim Brown, said he's heard Gruden,

used that term in the past, also understands what he is referencing.

But it doesn't matter.

Smith came out with a really bold statement talking about racism and the racist statement that John Gruden made.

The NFL came out with a similar statement completely throwing John Gruden under the bus.

Don't look at the man's body of work. It doesn't matter that to the best of my

knowledge there's never been a player or a colleague at ESPN that's come out and

made any claims about racism and John Gruden in the same sentence.

But in this woke country that we live in, that doesn't matter.

People are going to believe what they want, and now in many people's eyes Gruden is a racist.

How freaking sad is that and you know what we have a lot of problems with racism in this country and they need to be dealt with. But this in my opinion is not one of them.

As a matter of fact, I think this does more to hurt the racial divide in this country than a lot of things.

Because there are a lot of people rolling their eyes saying, are you freaking kidding me?

Now all of a sudden, the term rubber lips is racist and a man at age 58 who's got an

impeccable record when it comes of dealing with people I mean mean again, here we are on Monday,
