Hello everyone and welcome to the Graceology with Gwen Smith podcast.

I'm Gwen Smith and I am so glad you've joined me today.

My guests are a fun, energetic young husband and wife duo, Captain Harold and Rachel Earls.

Harold's an active duty army officer currently serving as the commander of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. How cool is that? He's also

a graduate of West Point and is U.S. Army Airborne Ranger qualified. Pretty awesome. Rachel's an army

wife, of course. Mom did two little cuties, Leo and Wyatt, and she hosts the very popular Earle's family vlog on

YouTube, which has over a half a million subscribers who tune in on the regular for real life,

unscripted discussions on faith, family life, and love. These guys are adorable. Harold and

Rachel have written a new book called A Higher Calling, which shares

their love story and a few life lessons they've learned about what it means for a couple

to support and sacrifice for one another's dreams. So ultimately today's episode is a fun

and simple reminder that each of us have a higher calling, which is to love God, love people, make a difference,

and be thankful.
